Details
The Dhoom River is a large circular beel. To the north, the Teesta and its tributaries joined the Manas River. At the apex of Dhum in the south-east, it is again connected with another branch of the Manas river. Which extended from Kutir Ghat to Subaghat. In this smoky hut was the secret abode of Bhabani Pathak and Devi Chowdhurani. From here they fought Lord Clive's troops, defeated and dispersed them.
